So, I case you haven't heard, November is National Novel Writing Month. There's this challenge thing you can sign up for, where basically you try to write a novel of 50,000 words by the end of November. If you make it you win. And I thought that sounded interesting, so I signed up.
So, as of right now I've written 3210 words just winging it. I've titled my novel "Behind the Door I Believe." It's got a lot of angst in it. I like my beginning to it okay, but I kind of feel like the rest of it is awful, but they say that's normal. I guess the point of this is writing for the sake of writing and to prove to yourself that you can do it. They say that once the month is over you can go back and edit, but for now just write.
So, I have no idea if I'm going to make it to the 50,000 mark, but whatever. This should be fun.
Anyone else attempting to do this?
